We were hesitant to buy the into the OBi Link System ourselves—and just as hesitant to add it to our shop. After nearly six months of testing it across various matches, though, we can confidently say it is worth the money and we would buy it again without hesitation.
Its real strength is the comfort it gives you while moving between stages: attach your rifle on one side and your tripod on the other, then move with both hands free.
OBi Link Clamp Lock
The OBi Link Quick Detach Post (QDP) is the toolless link between your equipment and the OBi Link carrying system. It fits any standard QD flush cup, making it an easy way to add OBi Link compatibility to a rifle, camera cage, tripod or other gear already equipped with a flush cup.
Insert the post into the QD cup, press the brass ball and push it into place. To remove it, simply press the ball again and pull the post out—no tools required. Once fitted, the QDP connects with OBi Link locks and Grip On mounts, allowing you to carry your gear securely and access it quickly when needed.
—NOTE— The Quick Detach Post is one half of the OBi Link system. You also need a compatible OBi Link lock or Grip On mount to connect and carry your gear.
