Bix’n Andy TacSport PRO X Trigger

The Bix’n Andy TacSport PRO X combines the exceptionally crisp, consistent break of the company’s competition triggers with a fully enclosed, highly durable housing developed for demanding field conditions.

Bix’n Andy triggers have long been popular in precision-rifle shooting, but their more open competition models were not always the natural choice for dusty PRS stages. The TacSport PRO X addresses that concern directly: its fully enclosed to protect the stainless-steel mechanism and is designed to continue performing when exposed to dust, moisture and dirt.

Designed for Remington 700 actions, Bergara B14/B14R rifles and compatible Remington 700-pattern actions, this trigger offers an exceptionally broad pull-weight adjustment range of 100–1,000 g. It can therefore be configured for everything from a light competition setup to hunting or practical field use. It comes in both single stage and double stage versions, with multiple trigger shoe option.

At the heart of the trigger is Bix’n Andy’s ball-bearing operating system. It provides a remarkably clean break with excellent consistency and minimal disturbance to the rifle—exactly what we want from a precision-rifle trigger.

Why we stock it

In our opinion, the Bix’n Andy TacSport PRO X ball trigger is currently the best precision-rifle trigger on the market. We also rate the TriggerTech Diamond very highly, but believe the Bix’n Andy still has a slight edge.

The reasons are straightforward:

  • exceptionally crisp and consistent break;
  • useful 100–1,000 g (3.5-35 Oz) adjustment range;
  • fully user-serviceable construction with no warranty seals;
  • enclosed mechanism suitable for dusty and wet conditions;
  • extensive choice of trigger shoes and configuration options.

This combination is why the TacSport PRO X is the Bix’n Andy model we stock. It delivers the trigger feel for which the brand is known, but in a package purpose-built for PRS and hard field use. For comparison, the non PRO version of this trigger has a pull weight adjustment range of 200-2000 g (7-70 Oz).
