CZ 457 Bolt Refresh Kit

This kit is designed to stay in your range bag, as a little box of spares for when you need them. It is built from OEM CZ parts, straight from the CZ factory. They come in a small 3d printed box for easy storage and transport. These parts were specifically chosen because they are wear parts that are easily damaged (or lost during disassembly) :-).

The holder and extractor claws should be replaced after around 10 thousand rounds fired, or when there is visible damage, when the surface plating starts flaking off or if they are not functioning properly. It is also recommended to change to C-clip as well at the same time, as this part provides the clamping force on the bullet rim. We have also included a standard strength firing pin spring, which we also recommend replacing at the same time, or when you start experiencing light primer strikes. The spring has to be replaced more often it the bolt is stored in a “cocked” state (open bolt in the rifle). That is why we recommend storing the bolt in a bolt case.

Kit contents

This kit is designed to basically refresh your bolt to good as new condition. It contains:

1) Holder and extractor claws for right handed actions (these will not work correctly in a left handed bolt!)

2) C-clip that holds the holder and extractor claws

3) Firing pin spring
Original, normal strength firing pin spring

4) Bolt pin
Although this parts usually doesn’t need replacing, it’s a small easy to loose part, if you’re taking the bolt apart. Always handy to have an extra one on hand.

CAUTION: This parts kit is only compatible with RIGHT HANDED bolts.
